The summer months brought a further acceleration in the growth of the offer price of new Prague apartments. In July and August 2022, the average price per square metre rose by 1.9% to CZK 155,800. In most districts, the average price changed only by tenths of a percent. However, a rapid growth was recorded in Prague 1, by 66% to CZK 322,300 per sqm, making it the most expensive part of the city. Compared to the previous period, buyers also paid significantly more in Prague 6, where the price per square metre rose by 13% to CZK 179,400. On the other hand, apartments in Prague 9 remained the cheapest with an average offer price of CZK 137,200 per sqm.
